Our Story
We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization that was created to love and serve those who reside in the San Fernando Valley. Led by a group of ministry leaders from St. Mary & St. Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church, we work to provide love, hope, and resources for our beloved community. For years, our church congregation has been serving the community and in 2021, we established Greater Love Ministries.
Our Mission
Dedicated to fostering a spirit of compassion and community in the San Fernando Valley and Greater Los Angeles area, Greater Love Ministries faithfully serves and uplifts individuals and families by harnessing the unique gifts and talents of those who share our vision for a more loving and thriving community.
What We Do
Alongside serving with local organizations throughout LA County, we also host our own events and service opportunities.
COMMUNITY MEALS
Cook and serve hot dinners to individuals and make to-go food packs to distribute.
ACTS OF LOVE PROGRAM
A short-term immersion program for volunteers as they serve in the greater Los Angeles area.
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS EVENT
A community event where families and individuals can enjoy a meal, take photos with Santa, and receive a gift from one of the 1,000+ gifts we donate to children each year.
